Leave the World Behind Watch:
Let's talk about Leave the World Behind, Netflix's Leave the World Behind, a movie with a plot based on prophecies about cyber-attacks or solar flares and the chaos that would ensue if electronic devices and the internet were to become inaccessible worldwide.
Spoiler-free plot: A family suddenly rents a house on a beach and goes on vacation. But after a short time, things start to slowly get complicated, ships and airplanes are washed ashore due to GPS malfunctioning; the internet goes down and there is no contact; it's a quiet chaos.
However, the movie is not as good as it is being made out to be. There is a shallow screenplay, with unnecessary scenes, perhaps for the sake of length, and many times there is no background to what we see. So much so that I think they shot it in a resort town because they didn't have the budget to show the chaos in the city or they wanted to cut corners.
On the other hand, have you noticed? Brands that support ****el but are boycotted in protest by people in the US, Europe, the Pacific and all over the world are supported between the lines, not only that, but there is also bad propaganda against Tesla and therefore Elon Musk. Netflix's level is standard no matter what package you have.
I was thinking of writing a review about it on the main page, but it's not a movie to think long and hard about. Even the tense soundtrack couldn't save it, and I think it was this soundtrack that made you want to continue at the beginning. I would give this movie a score between three and four out of ten.
